A staged photographic series investigating portrayals of women in film, television, and beauty culture through satirical interpretations of crime scenes. The oven photograph was selected for the 2015 Annual Juried Exhibition at McNeese State University.

A self-portrait series recreating a recurring dream: waking to a raspy voice yelling “Blind,” negative entities pulling at every limb, unable to scream. Without props, the work relies on body language and handwritten text from my dream writings, with the black surroundings standing for the daily pressures pulling me into darkness. Influenced by Rimma and Valeriy Gerlovina’s Perhappiness.
