About Jasmine
I'm a visual artist, photographer, graphic designer, and art educator. I grew up in Lake Charles, Louisiana, and now live in Lakeland, Florida.
I earned a B.A. in Art from McNeese State University in May 2015, with concentrations in Photography and Graphic Design. I'm currently completing an M.A. in Art Education at the University of Florida, with graduation expected in December 2026.
My work is rooted in photography and design, and it keeps returning to visual storytelling, memory, identity, and place. Alongside my own photography, I offer photo restoration and photo editing services. Those same interests shape how I teach and how I think about community-based art education.
Since January 2026 I've taught introductory studio courses at Florida Southern College. Over the long term, I want to expand accessible community art opportunities in Lakeland.
